Job summary

Harmar Mobility in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver technical training sessions and support the Training Manager in program execution and improvement. You will lead portions of classes, facilitate hands-on exercises, and represent Harmar in front of learners, while handling administrative tasks.

Training is delivered in person in Sarasota, virtual classes, and occasional on-site training at dealer or partner locations, requiring strong communication and travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, communications or technical field; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing field, technical product experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructor-led installation training sessions under guidance of the Training Manager.
• Lead hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and guided practice sessions.
• Provide real-time coaching and troubleshooting support during installation activities.
• Assist with demonstrations of tools, equipment, wiring, and mechanical components.
• Promote a safe, learner-focused, and professional classroom environment.
• Support on-site training events at dealer or partner locations as needed.
• Assist with preparation, transport, setup, and teardown of training equipment for field events.
• Represent Harmar professionally while interacting with dealers, technicians, and partners.
• Prepare products, fixtures, tools, and materials ahead of each session.
• Assist with maintenance, inspection, and organization of demo units and training equipment.
• Provide feedback on training effectiveness and learner comprehension.
• Contribute to updates of training materials, job aids, and hands-on guides.
• Share real-world installation insights to improve training relevance and clarity.
