Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in yard operations, vehicle movement, automotive logistics, or similar environments.
• Previous experience as a senior driver or informal lead preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily tasks for Drivers based on operational priorities.
• Ensure team members clearly understand instructions and safety expectations.
• Monitor work progress and adjust assignments as needed throughout the shift.
• Oversee vehicle movement, routing, and proper parking within designated areas.
• Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with procedures and client requirements.
• Reinforce safety rules, PPE usage, and yard driving protocols.
• Communicate shift updates, changes, and issues to the Operations Supervisor.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks such as logs, task lists, and shift handoff reports.
• Step in to support vehicle movement during peak times or staffing gaps.
