Job summary

You will mentor operators, establish operating windows, monitor critical parameters, collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Production, and drive improvements in throughput, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing or industrial process experience preferred.
• Supervisory or team-led leadership experience required.
• Ability to understand and interpret process operating data.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and environmental leadership within Stock Approach operations.
• Supervise daily operation of the Stock Approach system including pulp preparation, dilution, mixing, and delivery to downstream processes.
• Maintain stable and consistent stock flow and monitor critical parameters (flow, temperature, pH/chemistry, pressure, levels, pump performance).
• Establish and maintain standardized operating procedures and operating windows.
• Coach and develop Stock Approach operators and conduct shift meetings.
• Lead structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for process issues and equipment problems.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production to drive continuous improvement.
