Job summary

pii is seeking a STEM Activity Specialist in Chicago to facilitate STEM programs for members of Union League Boys and Girls Clubs. The ideal candidate will work closely with Club leadership and the Technology and Science Director to implement effective STEM curriculums that respond to the needs of youth, particularly in under-resourced areas. Key responsibilities include developing activities, coaching youth for special events, and supporting staff in technology management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience facilitating programming and debriefing activities preferred.
• Understanding of 21st Century STEM needs of youth.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate current and evidence-based curriculums to Club members.
• Identify Club members' interests and needs around STEM programs.
• Serve as a resource to staff around safe technology usage.
