Job summary

Summit School Services is seeking a senior Solution Architect/Developer to design enterprise-grade architectures and actively contribute production code. You will guide AI roadmap development, prototype AI-enabled features, and ensure secure, scalable solutions across domains.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, architectural leadership, and collaboration with product and executive teams to translate strategy into shippable systems.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience as Solution/Application/Enterprise Architect with ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on experience writing production code.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML technologies in real projects (LLM, RAG, AI copilots).
• Experience building and communicating a technology/AI roadmap to leadership.
• Strong grounding in microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex, business-critical applications.
• Own ADRs, design reviews, and technical standards across the portfolio.
• Translate business requirements into concrete designs, data flows, and integration patterns.
• Partner with product, engineering, and executives to align decisions with strategy.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy options with hands-on PoCs and prototypes.
• Actively write, review, and ship production code and prototypes to validate decisions.
• Mentor developers, perform code reviews, and lead engineering best practices.
