Job summary

Summit School Services is seeking a Solution Architect, Application Developer to design enterprise-grade solutions and write production code while shaping our AI roadmap. You will lead by building, mentor engineers, and guide architectural decisions across critical domains in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities include ADRs, design reviews, and evaluating new frameworks, while collaborating with product, security, and QA to ensure secure, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Hands-on developer and architect experience with production systems.
• Experience in AI/ML technologies in real projects.
• Ability to communicate technology roadmaps to leadership.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for critical applications balancing scalability, security, and cost.
• Own ADRs, design reviews, and technical standards across the portfolio.
• Translate business needs into concrete designs and data flows.
• Lead by building: write production code and create reference implementations.
• Mentor developers and lead cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive AI roadmap and prototype AI-enabled features.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy and manage vendor relationships.
