Job summary

Champro is seeking a hands-on Software Development Manager in Bannockburn, IL to lead a talented team of developers and deliver scalable software solutions that support our business growth.

You will coach engineers, manage the full SDLC, collaborate with product, QA, and operations, and champion best practices in coding, architecture, and testing.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a leadership role and 7+ years in development with ASP.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a leadership role managing software developers.
• 7+ years hands-on in software development with ASP.NET, SQL Server, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software developers.
• Manage full SDLC from planning to delivery within budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and operations to align priorities.
• Champion best practices in coding, architecture, and design.
• Serve as technical resource and drive continuous improvement.
