Phillips Signs in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an Operations Manager to run the shop floor from drawing to delivery. This hands-on leadership role gives you real authority to shape how the company operates and grow the business.

You will lead production across fabrication, assembly, paint and shipping, manage a roughly 10-person crew, ensure on-time delivery and uphold UL sign standards. Direct partnership with the owner offers a unique chance to influence company direction.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in fabrication/manufacturing.
• At least 2 years leading a crew.
• Read shop drawings to understand build.
• Strong scheduling and problem-solving under shifting priorities.
• Leads with high standards and cares for their people.
• Comfortable with basic software for scheduling, email and production tracking.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day production, scheduling and workflow across fabrication, assembly, paint and shipping
• Manage, train and develop a shop crew of about 10
• Own quality control so every job leaves the shop right the first time
• Balance rush orders, material lead times and staffing to hit delivery dates
• Work with the office team on job intake, shop drawings and customer timelines
• Manage materials, inventory and vendor relationships
• Build and improve the systems and processes that help the shop scale
• Keep the shop safe, organized and compliant, including UL sign standards
