Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of professional sewing and fabric fabrication experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines.
• Strong knowledge of custom drapery construction and large-format fabric fabrication.
• Proven ability to lead or supervise sewing employees.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Personally cut, sew, assemble, and finish custom drapery and specialty fabrics.
• Operate and troubleshoot industrial sewing machines and cutting equipment.
• Interpret drawings, dimensions, and fabrication specifications.
• Determine efficient construction methods for custom projects.
• Train sewing employees on techniques, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Oversee daily sewing room operations and supervise fabrication employees.
• Coordinate with sales, estimating, warehouse, and installation teams.
• Maintain an organized and efficient production environment.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and labor.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
