Job summary

Faros AI, Inc. is hiring software engineers to build the future of engineering operations. This hands-on role involves coding core systems, shaping architecture, and solving complex challenges, while mentoring peers and guiding technical roadmaps.

You will write production-grade code, design scalable APIs, and collaborate with distributed teams to deliver reliable, secure services across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years with ownership of critical components or services.
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript + Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience designing/consuming/implementing REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience building & productionizing web services, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, orchestration frameworks.
• Strong database fundamentals (SQL/NoSQL).
• CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience running production workloads including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, traces, oncall.
• Security fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud providers: AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale our data infrastructure and core engineering platforms.
• Lead by writing high-quality, resilient code and establish architectural standards.
• Mentor engineers and translate business strategy into technical roadmaps.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align technical plans.
