Job summary

C&C Group in Lenexa, KS is looking for a Security Field Engineer/Technician to deliver high-quality on-site installations and service for access control, VMS, and related security systems. You will interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, use field tools, and ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish.

The role requires an associate’s degree (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience with security systems, access control, VMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and diagnose systems and products at customer locations.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Install product and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use hand tools to install, program, and diagnose systems per blueprints and diagrams.
• Provide updates to project managers.
• Ensure quality completion of project.
• Document work by completing paperwork and maintaining files.
