JBS USA is seeking a hands-on Sanitation Operations Supervisor to lead daily sanitation activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and schedules in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in hands-on sanitation operations, preferably in manufacturing or food processing.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations and industry best practices.
• Spanish bilingual highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Hands-on approach with willingness to actively participate in sanitation activities as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to train and develop employees and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications.
• Commitment to safety and ability to promote and enforce a culture of safety.
• Physical stamina for hands-on duties involving bending, lifting, and standing.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and actively participate in daily sanitation activities to ensure procedures and schedules are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections and take corrective actions to improve sanitation conditions.
• Lead by example to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the Sanitation Operations Superintendent to update protocols and guidelines.
• Oversee inventory of sanitation supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
• Train and mentor staff on sanitation procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing coaching to ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and encourage continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards within sanitation operations.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with QA to address sanitation-related issues affecting product quality and safety.
• Proactively identify process improvements and stay updated on industry trends.
