Job summary

Jasper Group in Orleans, IN, seeks a hands-on Safety and Environmental Coordinator for our manufacturing facility. You will own safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and environmental compliance on the floor, supported by leadership.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, an associate degree preferred, and OSHA 10 General Industry certification preferred; willingness to obtain required certifications is expected. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Requires 1–3 years of manufacturing, safety or related experience; manufacturing preferred.
• Associate degree in safety/environmental health or related field preferred.
• Experience with hazard recognition, machine guarding, lockout/tagout, PPE and incident investigations.
• OSHA 10 General Industry certification preferred; willingness to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own safety and environmental training for new hires and current employees.
• Conduct floor inspections, identify hazards, and drive corrective actions.
• Support incident/near-miss investigations and OSHA compliance.
• Create practical safety talks and coach staff to improve safe work practices.
