Paragon Cyber Solutions has an immediate opening for those ready for an exciting and dynamic career as a Signal Processing Engineer to develop the RF waveforms and signal processing algorithms that make Navy electronic warfare systems work.

This is hands on engineering across the full cycle: concept and modeling in MATLAB, implementation in software and on software defined radios, bench and lab validation against real hardware, and fielded system diagnostics when something does not behave the

Qualifications

• 7 years related professional experience in microwave and RF design.
• Computer design, software development, or computer networks.
• MATLAB theory and application.
• RF device applications and signal processing/protocol testing.
• Strong software coding experience.
• RF test equipment and theory.
• Programming software defined radios.
• Proficiency in system diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop signal processing algorithms and waveforms for communications, networking, and electronic warfare applications.
• Model, prototype, implement, and test algorithm concepts in software, carrying them from concept through validated performance.
• Program and characterize software defined radios to implement and evaluate waveform designs.
• Analyze RF communication protocols and evaluate complex waveforms using spectrum analyzers and related RF test equipment.
• Develop, test, and deliver RF signal solutions for Navy EW systems.
• Perform unit and system level testing, diagnostics, and root cause analysis to resolve fielded system issues.
• Coordinate system updates and execute configuration management in collaboration with the OEM.
• Maintain system and design documentation in support of configuration management and delivery requirements.
