Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a RF Design Co-Op for Jan–June 2027 at Andover. You will join the RF design team to develop RF/microwave front-end ICs and modules for 2–8 GHz wireless systems, gaining hands-on experience in design, simulation, characterization, and optimization.

The role requires pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of RF concepts. You will use tools like ADS, Cadence Virtuoso, and HFSS, with opportunities to contribute to measurement and reporting

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical or related field.
Solid foundation in microwave engineering and RF circuit design.
Experience with RF design and simulation tools (ADS, Cadence, HFSS).
Familiarity with lab measurement equipment (VNAs, scopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Perform RF circuit, EM, and thermal simulations to support RF modules and ICs.
Assist with lab characterization, debugging, and performance optimization of RF ICs and modules.
Analyze measurement data and simulations to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
Prepare technical reports summarizing test results, simulations, and recommendations.
Present analyses and project updates to the engineering team.
