Job summary

Staffmark Group in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Production Technician. You will run machines, assemble parts, and pack goods for global shipment on a Wed-Sat schedule, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm with a half-hour lunch. The role emphasizes safety and quality in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You’ll work on pallets, material handling, and yield-focused processes, with relationships to the lab for sample prep and verification. Training and steady growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or relevant hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, composites, flooring, coatings, or lab-supported production environments.
• Ability to read and follow batch tickets, work instructions, and SOPs accurately.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness/ability to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety standards.
• Familiarity with resin systems (epoxy, polyurethane, MMA, or similar) is a plus.
• Experience handling aggregates, fillers, and composite flooring materials is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory, batch tracking, or order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Pulling, staging, assembling, and palletizing flooring orders based on batch tickets and work orders.
• Preparing, packaging, and organizing raw materials, fillers, and finished composite flooring products for shipment.
• Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move goods throughout the facility.
• Loading and unloading materials between storage, production, lab, and shipping areas.
• Supporting lab activities such as sample preparation, test pours, curing checks, and material verification.
• Following strict formulations, batch instructions, and SOPs to ensure consistent production quality.
• Completing batch records, order documentation, and inventory transactions accurately.
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe production and laboratory work areas.
• Working in an industrial environment with exposure to dust, aggregates, resins, and chemicals while using required PPE.
• Standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
