Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; an Associate's degree in supervision, operations management, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop production employees.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, peers, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and promote a strong culture of workplace safety and employee accountability.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals, quality standards, and delivery requirements.
• Manage staffing, production workflow, employee assignments, and daily production reporting.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Coach, train, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen performance.
• Provide clear direction, establish expectations, and address performance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, materials, HR, and others to resolve issues and maintain production flow.
• Analyze production data and identify root causes to implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with process improvements.
• Maintain records and reports related to production activities and employee performance.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive business information.
• Provide hands-on operational support as needed to keep production on schedule.
• Promote teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive working environment.
