Job summary

Phillips Staffing is seeking Production Associates for a client in Easley, SC. You will work hands-on with fluid conveying products to ensure high quality standards are met and exceed customer expectations.

Qualifications

• The ability to learn and operate necessary quality equipment.
• The ability to set up and operate equipment in assigned area of responsibility.
• The ability to read and comprehend the English language or the language in which the employee is most fluent; LMS training may be required.
• Proficient computer skills in all applications.
• Frequently walks, kneels and stands for extended periods (up to 10-hour shifts).
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Complete training process for each piece of equipment.
• Read and follow Operator Instruction Sheets, routers and quality alerts.
• Verify quality, set up, SPC and lot numbers at the beginning of shift.
• Maintain a safe environment, attendance and overtime records with a cooperative attitude.
• Communicate with End of Line Operator and Production Supervisor about production schedule, safety, quality, delivery alerts and downtime issues.
• Assist with machine setup for change over.
• May assist other operators as requested.
• Adhere to policies per procedures or OIS; follow handbook.
• Inform Production Supervisor of plant-wide rule violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Communicate positively with all levels and treat coworkers with respect.
• Understand and follow safety policies to eliminate hazards.
• Report quality issues immediately to End of Line.
