Job summary

Applied Composites seeks a Production Shop Assistant to move materials and tooling between facilities in a fast-paced setting. You will respond to daily requests from production leadership, assist with inventory control, and help keep lines running smoothly.

The role is entry-level, physical, and requires punctual attendance, with potential night/weekend shifts. Valid license and ability to lift 50 lb are needed.

Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and ability to travel between locations.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years in material handling or warehouse operations, forklift a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Physical work: lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Must understand safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tooling/part transit between facilities with production.
  • Deliver tooling to correct departments and log movement details.
  • Assist shipping/receiving with inbound/outbound materials daily.
  • Load/unload and transport composite materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Maintain clean, safe work environment and perform equipment inspections.
