Job summary

IronLeaf Designs, a North Carolina fabrication company, seeks a Production Manager to lead daily shop-floor operations. This hands-on role requires active involvement with the production team, overseeing machine setup, quality control, and timely delivery while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The candidate will head on-site manufacturing activities, coordinate resources, and train staff, stepping in to assist as needed to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial fabrication/shop environment.
• Experience with CNC machinery, plasma, press brakes, and other fabrication equipment.
• Strong supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing or fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing and production activities.
• Work on the shop floor with the production team.
• Set daily priorities based on schedules and deadlines.
• Monitor production to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist with machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and production as needed.
• Supervise CNC, plasma, press brake, fabrication personnel.
• Perform quality control and final inspections per drawings and tolerances.
• Identify and address quality issues and root causes on the line.
• Train employees on equipment, processes, safety, and quality.
