Job summary

CCL is seeking a Press Operator Trainee in Buffalo, NY to assist Press Operators with setup and operation of printing equipment according to SOPs. The role focuses on learning on the job, material handling, and supporting production on the 2nd shift.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and manufacturing experience, with strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and communication skills. Training will begin immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operator by ensuring they have the proper material and supplies.
• Help set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens.
• Ensure rolls of raw material are mounted on the unwind shaft during production run.
• Perform total preventive maintenance on the press and all equipment.
