Job summary

Professional Physical Therapy is seeking a friendly Physical Therapy Aide to support licensed therapists and help patients on their healing journey. You will engage with patients, set up treatment areas, and help maintain a welcoming, collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for students applying to PT school, with part-time hours that may help meet application requirements. Strong communication, organization, and stamina are essential, and HIPAA/OSHA awareness is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and friendly patient interaction.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting.
• Stamina for lifting and staying active throughout the day.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up treatment areas and prepare therapy sessions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to support patient needs.
• Assist patients in getting comfortably situated during visits.
• Keep treatment areas clean and hygienic.
• Prepare hot and cold packs for therapy.
• Assist with laundry and cleaning duties as needed.
