Highbar Physical Therapy in Norwood, MA is hiring an Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Aide to support licensed clinicians in delivering patient care.

This full-time, on-site role offers starting pay at $18/hour with benefits including medical/dental/vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k), and paid holidays/time off, plus opportunities for professional development and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field strongly preferred.
• Standing or walking for extended periods; assisting with patient exercise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the condition and cleanliness of treatment rooms and gym area meets standards.
• Assist clinical staff with patient intervention following plan of care as directed by the PT or PTA; may include exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, aquatic therapy, modalities, and education on posture, ergonomics, ADL’s and body mechanics.
• Assist administrative staff with scheduling/rescheduling, answering phones, intake, and calling patients to maintain communication at the therapist’s direction.
• Maintain a clean environment for patient safety and clinician efficiency; handle housekeeping tasks and supply management.
