Qualifications

• Previous animal-handling experience is required.
• Comfort working with dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, clean, lift, and safely handle animals.

Responsibilities

• Safely and compassionately handle dogs, cats, and other animals.
• Feed, water, and provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients.
• Monitor patients for changes in behavior, appetite, comfort, or overall condition.
• Promptly communicate patient concerns to the veterinary team.
• Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and patient-care tasks as needed.
• Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, treatment areas, and other hospital spaces.
• Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and welcoming hospital environment.
• Follow established hospital safety, sanitation, and animal-care protocols.
• Provide attentive and compassionate care to every patient.
