Job summary

Client Organization in Leominster, MA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day production, quality, warehouse, and logistics in a food and beverage manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, driving safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting production targets.

You will manage multiple teams, coordinate schedules, implement process improvements, and ensure GMP/HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Minimum 2–3 years direct supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation.
• Experience leading production teams and coordinating day-to-day operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and operational tracking/reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, quality, warehouse and logistics to meet targets.
• Lead manufacturing, quality, logistics staff and temporary workers.
• Coordinate schedules, workflows and priorities.
• Coach and develop potential team leads.
• Coordinate raw materials, schedules and priorities to meet orders.
• Identify/improve productivity, waste, labor, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP/HACCP and safety standards.
• Document SOPs and maintain accurate production reports.
• Communicate across departments and with HR.
• Provide hands-on support during peak periods.
