Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking a General Helper to support multiple departments with manual labor, equipment handling, cleaning, and basic tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly at our Louisiana facility.

The role involves lifting and moving materials, setting up work areas, assisting skilled workers, maintaining clean spaces, and following safety protocols. No specialized experience required, but reliability and ability to read job specs are helpful.

Qualifications

• Equipment handling and material movement.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool operation.
• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to read measurements, job specs, and follow instructions.

Responsabilités

• Assist daily operations: Support teams, maintain tools/equipment, and ensure workflow continuity.
• Physical labor: Lift, load/unload, move materials, and set up work areas.
• Cleaning & maintenance: Clean workspaces, machinery, and public areas; perform routine inspections.
• Support skilled workers: Prepare tools, fetch materials, hold items in place, and assist technicians or machine operators.
• Operate basic tools/equipment: Use hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and assist with machinery setup.
• Inventory tasks: Count, stock, receive shipments, and track supplies.
• Safety compliance: Follow safety protocols, use PPE, attend training, and report hazards.
• Record keeping: Maintain logs of tasks, inventory, and incidents.
