Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineer II to join our expanding engineering team in Arlington, TX. You will contribute to application development, cloud solutions, and modern delivery using C#/.NET and Azure.

This hands-on role involves systems design discussions, deployment automation, and collaboration with architects and stakeholders to build scalable, reliable software. GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted tools should be used to boost productivity and code

Qualifications

• Approximately 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET.
• Practical Microsoft Azure experience, including cloud-based application deployment.
• Strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to participate in systems design discussions and explain technical trade-offs.
• Strong communication skills in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.
• Participate in systems design and architecture discussions for scalability and reliability.
• Build, deploy, and support applications in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve performance.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Explain design decisions and contributions to development projects.
• Apply best practices and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
