Albany Med Health System is seeking a laboratory technician for the Molecular & Cellular Physiology unit. The Day shift position supports Albany Medical College research operations by performing a variety of laboratory tests and experiments.

Responsibilities include preparing media and reagents, documenting results, consulting with the PI to adapt procedures, reviewing methods, operating lab equipment, maintaining inventory, and conducting animal experiments as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related scientific field is required.

Mansioni

• Perform routine biochemical, molecular biological, behavioral and immunological research laboratory tests under supervision.
• Prepare culture media, chemicals, reagents and solutions.
