Job summary

Actalent in Boston is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer to support development and testing of disposable medical device products. You will work with cross-functional R&D teams to develop, execute, and analyze product testing to ensure designs meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong engineering foundation, experience with SolidWorks, and a passion for solving technical challenges through hands-on testing and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience using SolidWorks.
• Strong hands-on execution skills in lab, testing, manufacturing, or product development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test methods, protocols, and validation activities for medical device products.
• Translate design requirements into testing solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Create test plans, procedures, schedules, and reports to support product development.
• Analyze test data, document results, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and validate moderately complex test methods using statistics and DOE principles.
• Coordinate testing activities, lab resources, equipment, and external vendors.
