Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor in North Wales, PA, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on designing, developing, improving, and implementing mechanical systems, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically minded, and comfortable working directly with CNC equipment, CAM software, and fabrication activities in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or machining environment preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve mechanical components and fixtures.
• Create CAD drawings and 3D models for production.
• Develop CNC programs and CAM toolpaths.
• Assist on-floor setup and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize processes.
• Support proto and product validation.
