Job summary

KEB America, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern to support our Engineering Department. The role involves performing routine technical work to develop basic skills and contribute to the Mechanical Engineering Team.

Responsibilities include validation testing, data collection, test reporting, basic analyses, and preparing drawings. Required is a BS.M.E. with GPA >= 3.0, and ability to work both independently and with others.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of test and measurement equipment.
• Understanding of both Imperial and Metric measurement systems.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BS.M.E.) with GPA >= 3.0.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform validation tests by following procedures.
• Collect data and information for documentation.
• Generate test reports.
• Perform simple computations and analyses.
• Prepare drawings, schematics, and visual aids.
• Build prototype assemblies.
