JBT Marel is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Ohio. You will assemble mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components for world-class food processing equipment.

You will read drawings, perform testing, and troubleshoot to ensure top quality while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Ideal candidates have hands-on fabrication experience, prefer teamwork, and can work from detailed work instructions and BOMs.

Qualifications

• Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components on equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment to meet quality standards.
• Use hand/power tools and measurement devices safely.
• Operate shop equipment and cranes as needed.
• Maintain organized, safe work area and meet production goals.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure specs are met.
