Woodward, Inc. in Santa Clarita, CA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler 1 to join our manufacturing team. This on-site role involves assembling, installing, aligning, and testing subassemblies and parts using standard tools and procedures.

You will work under supervision, follow work instructions, and aim for high quality while meeting delivery needs. Requirements include a US high school diploma and mechanical aptitude; prior experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical aptitude.
• Able to read and follow work instructions with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of hand tools and measurement practices useful for assembly.
• Ability to work with close tolerances and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testing.
• Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts using appropriate tools.
• Clean parts and maintain tooling per proper work instructions.
• Follow work instructions to become certified; complete tests and quality checks.
