Job summary

Perdue Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Food Production Mixer to support our fast-paced meat production line. You will prepare and move raw materials, load blends into V-mags, and operate equipment like V-mag lifts and mixers to keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

This role emphasizes physical work, teamwork, and a commitment to quality. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00am to 3:00pm with some weekends; prior experience in a production environment and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong reading, writing and analytical skills.
• Light-to-moderate math and counting accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and load correct blends into V-mags.
• Push/shovel meat into distribution areas and operate V-mag lifts and mixers.
• Rotate through key positions to support team performance and ergonomic safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow safety protocols.
