Job summary

Vulcan Elements Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Training Facilitator to build operator and technician skills on the production floor through shadowing, demonstrations, supervised practice, and coaching.

The role focuses on preparing employees for assigned work while aligning with approved procedures and safety standards. Based in Benson, NC, you will work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and Logistics to ensure training stays current with procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years in manufacturing or related industrial environment.
• 2+ years experience training, coaching, onboarding, or leading employees.
• Hands-on experience operating manufacturing or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety, quality, documentation, and equipment-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver onboarding, safety, technical, and operator training using classroom instruction, videos, discussions, simulations, and practical exercises.
• Explain manufacturing concepts clearly to hourly operators and technicians.
• Adapt instruction to employee experience while maintaining learning outcomes and performance standards.
• Prepare training materials, equipment, procedures, and learning areas before sessions.
• Coordinate guest facilitators and subject-matter experts to support training delivery.
• Deliver or co-deliver new-hire safety orientation and coordinate role-specific training with EHS, HR, and area supervisors.
