Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Director for an on-site role in Woodstock, GA, to own the flow of purchasing, production planning, inventory, shipping, and receiving while building predictable, value‑adding processes on the manufacturing floor.

You will optimize BOM accuracy, drive production scheduling improvements, enhance supplier performance, and reduce material costs by leveraging the existing ERP/MRP system and expanding visibility across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Progressive supply chain leadership experience within manufacturing.
• Strong background in purchasing, strategic sourcing, production planning, inventory management, and supplier management.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems for purchasing, material planning, inventory, and production requirements.
• Strong understanding of BOM accuracy and item master data.
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and reduce costs.
• Experience developing KPIs and using data to improve supply chain performance.
• Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing, inventory, production planning, shipping, and receiving.
• Improve Bills of Materials and item master data.
• Strengthen production scheduling and material planning.
• Analyze supplier pricing and negotiate cost reductions.
• Develop suppliers and improve supplier quality and delivery performance.
