Job summary

EBway LLC, a precision metal-stamping manufacturer in Fort Lauderdale, seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Quality Engineer to own the quality systems and daily activities, including PPAPs, audits, calibration, inspection programs, nonconformances, and working with production on the floor.

This role blends quality engineering with shop-floor support; you will inspect parts, develop fixtures, program Keyence equipment, review drawings, apply GD&T, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent manufacturing-quality experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis ability.
• Proficiency with Excel and common software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit PPAP documentation including control plans and inspection results.
• Maintain and improve the quality-management system.
• Participate in customer, regulatory, and quality-system audits.
• Investigate nonconformances and develop corrective actions.
• Develop inspection plans and perform various inspections on the floor.
• Program and operate Keyence inspection equipment.
