Job summary

Prolink is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for their Henderson, TN facility to drive hands-on process improvements on the production floor. You will troubleshoot equipment, optimize processes and support lean initiatives to reduce downtime and waste.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operators, maintenance and engineering teams, delivering sustainable fixes and robust documentation to sustain gains over time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, tooling and process improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to identify production problems and implement sustainable solutions.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working directly with production and maintenance teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, tooling and production processes.
• Identify and resolve issues related to downtime, scrap, quality defects and production efficiency.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling and fixtures.
• Work closely with production operators, maintenance personnel and engineering teams.
• Lead process improvements focused on efficiency, quality and cost reduction.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions and engineering changes.
• Support equipment installations, modifications and manufacturing process improvements.
