Job summary

Interfor Georgetown is seeking a Maintenance Intern for a hands-on summer in a fast-paced sawmill environment. You'll work with maintenance and operations teams to learn equipment reliability, process improvement, and practical problem-solving while building technical skills.

This on-site internship runs 4–8 months starting May 2027, with competitive compensation, including a temporary living allowance for interns moving to the area.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or diploma in an industry-related program (forestry, supply chain, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering).
• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with your team and other departments.
• Interested in hands-on work in an industrial setting.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
