Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Mail Production Operator to operate mail production equipment and maintain organized materials as they move through the workflow. You will program machinery, load supplies, verify quality, and perform minor repairs to keep equipment functioning.

This full-time role is based in Pennsylvania with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule, no telework, and a starting salary reflective of state pay bands.

Qualifications

• One year of Mail Production Assistant experience or equivalent.
• One year of clerical experience.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Program machinery during daily start up procedures.
• Operate Bell & Howell Aims equipment to process output.
• Load forms, inserts, card stock, envelopes, and related materials.
• Read reports and verify accuracy and orientation of completed work.
• Perform minor repairs to maintain equipment function.
• Load completed mail onto carts and transport within processing.
