Pierce Manufacturing, a leading maker of fire apparatus, is hiring a Bar Operator (Machine Operator I) in Wisconsin. You will check job sheets, set up mills, lathes and related equipment, and work hands-on to build our rugged trucks.

Openings on 1st shift with overtime; prefer applicants with basic tool experience and ability to read blueprints. We offer competitive pay starting at $25.15–26.80 per hour plus shift premiums and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with basic hand tools.
• 1+ year of metal fabrication or machining preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines including mills, lathes, saws, punches, and tube benders.
• Set up parts for cutting and milling operations.
• Read blueprints and job routings to guide work.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Work overtime and rotate jobs as needed.
