EarthScapes Lawn & Land Service, Inc. in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead a small crew on year-round residential and commercial properties. This hands-on leadership role requires strong field presence and the ability to set the pace and standards on every job.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of landscape maintenance experience and at least 2 years in a crew-leader capacity. You will operate commercial equipment, train staff, ensure safety, and maintain quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional landscape maintenance experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Crew Leader, Foreman, or similar leadership role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong experience operating commercial landscaping equipment
• Ability to effectively lead, train, and motivate a crew
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Knowledge of plant materials and seasonal landscape care is preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew of 2+ landscape maintenance team members
• Oversee mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, and other routine landscape maintenance
• Operate commercial-grade mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and related equipment
• Conduct pre- and post-job inspections to ensure quality standards are met
• Train, motivate, and provide direction to crew members
• Ensure company safety procedures are followed on every job
• Communicate with management regarding scheduling, supplies, and client feedback
• Accurately complete timesheets and job completion records
