EmergencyMD is seeking a part-time Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) instructor in Scranton, PA for the fall 2026 semester. The instructor will be responsible for providing quality instruction in HVAC systems, developing course materials, and evaluating student performance. Candidates must have an Associate's degree and 4-5 years of technical experience in HVAC. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate's degree and/or 4-5 years of technical experience.
Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required.
EPA 608 Type 1 & 2 certification.
Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on instruction for residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Demonstrate ductwork design and installation techniques.
Teach students to interpret blueprints and schematics.
Evaluate student performance through assessments.
Maintain a safe and organized lab environment.
