Job Overview

An Atlanta couple with busy schedules is seeking an experienced and effective house manager who can take over the management and keep their busy home functioning. They live in a 6000 sq ft townhome with 4 floors (there is an elevator for family’s use only). Interested candidates must be able to walk up and down several flights of stairs several times a day. Their home is designed with a minimalistic look; they’re seeking someone who is very detailed and used to working with fine home furnishings.

Responsibilities
  1. Housekeeping and caring for fine surfaces.
  2. Family laundry and light ironing.
  3. Organization of storage spaces, closets, wardrobes, cabinets, and pantries.
  4. Shopping for household supplies and staples, grocery shopping.
  5. Scheduling repairs and managing vendors and contractors.
  6. Assisting with entertaining on occasional weekends.
  7. Assisting with packing and unpacking due to principals' heavy travel schedule.
  8. Maintaining weekly inventory of household staples and personal products.
  9. Arranging maintenance appointments for family vehicles.
  10. Occasionally assisting with very simple meal prepping.
Requirements

All candidates applying are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a private home. Recent and verifiable work history and references must be provided. Family prefers an individual living in the metro Atlanta area. A clean background check and motor vehicle report is required. Must have legal status to work in the US. Excellent command of English, both written and oral. Computer proficiency is required. An individual with a pleasant disposition who requires little to no direction will fit right in.
