Job summary

HouseSmart Construction, a new division within Clayton, seeks an Installer II to join the team and assist with setting up manufactured homes. You will work with the Crew Chief to perform hands-on construction tasks, learn safety practices, and contribute to a safe, efficient home installation process.

You should enjoy outdoor work, be comfortable at heights, and be eager to learn basic masonry, electrical, and plumbing crossover tasks while building practical skills with supportive training.

Qualifications

• General construction experience.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on role.
• Comfort with heights and confined spaces, able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with common hand and power tools (hammer, level, drill, impact wrench).

Responsibilities

• Support the Crew Chief and team with safely setting up the manufactured home.
• Own various construction tasks needed to set up the home quickly and independently.
• Learn and perform basic masonry work and assist with electrical/plumbing crossovers.
• Assist with bonding wires, repair bottom board, and other specified tasks.
• Help new team members develop skills safely and pair with the Crew Chief for daily tasks.
