Job summary

Cavco Industries is seeking a Production Home Assembler to follow work orders and assemble building components on a factory line. You will read plans, select materials, and use hand and power tools to build floors, walls, electrical runs, and exterior finishes.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards as you contribute to the completion of quality homes in a high‑volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience reading blueprints is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and power tools to perform carpentry duties.
• Frame, layout and build floors; prepare walls.
• Layout, run and install electrical lines, switches, panels/breakers.
• Finish carpentry: tape, mud, texture; install siding, windows and doors.
• Paint interior and exterior of homes.
• Cooperate and promote a team concept; follow safety standards.
