Job summary

Cavco Industries Inc. is seeking a Production Home Assembler to follow work orders on a factory line, assemble building components, and ensure quality in a high-volume environment. You will use a variety of carpentry tools and basic electrical layout tasks to contribute to the home-building process.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to read measurements and blueprints, and capable of working in a team to meet production goals while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure and follow construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry and safe use of common tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow work orders and assembly instructions to build components.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks.
• Frame, layout, and build floors and walls.
• Install electrical lines, switches, and panels as directed.
• Prepare surfaces for finish work and assist with painting as needed.
