OWL Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Compliance Fuel Technician Apprentice for direct, full-time work. The role involves testing and inspecting fuel systems at various facilities, with regular travel and hands-on duties that support safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with hand tools experience.
Background in trades or industrial settings is a plus.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform fuel containment, equipment integrity, and leak-detection testing.
Identify leaks and compliance issues to prevent environmental or equipment failures.
Complete petroleum support work orders accurately and efficiently.
Document test results using basic technology tools.
Travel approximately two weeks per month (home on weekends; hotel and per diem provided).
Comply with safety, DOT, and company policies at all times.
