Job summary

Viking Fabrication Services LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking motivated individuals for a Fabrication Production Associate role. You will support fabrication activities including machine operation, pipe preparation, material movement, welding support, and quality inspection in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and basic blueprints.
• Interest in learning fabrication processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate plasma cutting, cold saws, and pipe threading equipment.
• Support fabrication, production, welding, and material handling activities.
• Cut, groove, thread, grind, and prepare steel pipe to specs.
• Read orders, measurements, and tapes to ensure quality.
• Visually inspect materials, welds, and finished products for defects.
• Load/unload and move steel pipe and materials in the shop.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and reporting quality concerns.
