Job summary

ESCO Group’s Equipment and Logistics Assistant in Mount Pleasant, IA, is an entry level role supporting the electrical shop with hands-on tool handling, loading, and hauling. The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and attention to detail to support client services.

You will perform tool check-in/out, inventory tasks, and assist with delivering tools and equipment to jobsites while maintaining organization and cleanliness in the shop and vehicles.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school degree program; or a combination of equivalent education and or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success.
• General knowledge of tools.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Check tools in and out daily, including updating the tool database and inventory data entry.
• Load and deliver tools, equipment, supplies, and other materials to jobsites, including jobsite cleanup and return.
• Equipment Numbering and Marking
• MEWP and Dirt Equipment delivery/hauling/pick-up
• Sort and return tools, equipment, supplies, and other materials.
• Calibration and Testing Management for Safety and Equipment
• Perform basic maintenance including building, furniture, lawn care, snow removal, etc.
• Fleet Shuttling
• Manage customer needs and requests with communication as they come through our ticketing system.
• Shop Organization and Cleaning
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment that represents a professional company image. Keep workspace and vehicles clean and organized on a daily basis.
• Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO's standards and best practices.
• Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management.
